Operation
Important:Thebatterypackisnotfullychargedwhenitis
purchased.Beforeusingthehedgetrimmerforthersttime,
placethebatterypackinthechargerandchargeituntil
theLEDindicatorsturngreen.Makesuretoreadallsafety
precautions.Withregularuse,itwillneedshortercharging
time.Ifstoringforaprolongedperiodoftime,removethe
battery.Whenreadytouseagain,chargethebatterypack
untiltheLEDindicatorsturngreen.
StartingtheHedgeTrimmer
1.Removetheprotectivecoverfromthecutterblades
(Figure1).
WARNING
Thehedgetrimmerbladescancausecutsor
amputation.
Becarefulwhenhandlingthehedgetrimmerwith
theprotectivecoverremoved.

StoppingtheHedgeTrimmer
1.Releasethetriggerswitch(Figure2).
2.Allowatleast5secondsforthecuttingbladetostopmoving.
ChargingtheBatteryPack
Important:Forbestresults,yourbatterypackshouldbe
chargedinalocationwherethetemperatureismorethan5°
C(41°F)butlessthan40°C(104°F).Toreducetheriskof
seriouspersonalinjury,donotstoreoutsideorinvehicles.
Chargingtimewillbeincreasedifnotchargedwithinthis
range.
1.Turnthebatteryupsidedownandlineupthebatteryterminal
withtheslotinthecharger(
