Note:Thetrimmerbladeshouldbeoiledbeforeandaftereach
use.
1.Stopthemotorandremovethebattery.
2.Cleandirtanddebrisfromthebodyofthehedgetrimmer,
usingadampclothwithamilddetergent.
Note:Donotuseanystrongdetergentsontheplastic
housingorthehandle.Theycanbedamagedbycertain
aromaticoilssuchaspineandlemon,andbysolventssuch
askerosene.
3.Laythehedgetrimmeronaatsurface.Applylightweight
machineoilalongtheedgeofthetopblade.Ifyouwillbe
usingthehedgetrimmerforanextendedperiodoftime,itis
advisabletooilthebladeduringuse.
Note:Donotoilwhilethehedgetrimmerisrunning.
PreparingtheBatteryPackfor
Recycling
WARNING
Beforerecycling,coverthebatterypack'sterminals
withheavy-dutyadhesivetape.Donotattemptto
destroyordisassemblethebatterypackorremove
anyofitscomponents.Lithium-ionbatteriesmustbe
recycledordisposedofproperlyatthenearestbattery
recyclingfacility.

Storage
•Cleanallforeignmaterialfromtheproduct.
•Storeitinawell-ventilatedplacethatisinaccessibleto
children.
•Keepawayfromcorrosiveagentssuchasgardenchemicals
andde-icingsalts.
Troubleshooting
Usingthebatterywhenitishotcanreducetheoperatingtime.
Thebatterywillautomaticallystopworkingwhenitisoverheated
topreventdamagetoit.Removethebatteryfromthechargerand
allowittocoolbeforeplacingitbackintothetrimmer.
Usingthebatterywhenthereismoistureontheleadscancause
thetrimmertomalfunction.Allowthebatterytodryorwipeitdry
beforeplacingitbackintothetrimmer.
