1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Cleanthegreasettingswitharag.
Note:Scrapeanypaintoffthefrontofthe
tting(s).
4.Connectagreaseguntothetting.
5.Pumpgreaseintothettingsuntilgreasebegins
tooozeoutofthebearings.
6.Wipeupanyexcessgrease.

3.Removethedustcapandadjustthecaster
pivotsandkeepthedustcapoffuntilgreasingis
done;refertoGreasingtheMachine(page37).
4.Removethehexplug.
5.Threadagreasettingintothehole.
6.Pumpgreaseintothettinguntilitoozesout
aroundthetopbearing.
7.Removethegreasettingfromthehole.Install
thehexplugandcap.
