Greasing the Pump-Belt
Idler Arm
Service Interval : Y early —Grease the pump-belt idler
arm (more often in dirty or dusty
conditions).
1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the PT O, and engage the parking brake.
2. Raise up the hopper ( Figure 28 ).

3. Shut of f the engine, remove the key , and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
4. Loosen the bolt holding the air cleaner ( Figure
29 ).
5. Loosen the clamp holding the hose and remove
the air cleaner ( Figure 29 ).
