mowerhousing.
Washtheundersideofthemoweraftereachuseto
preventgrassbuildupforimprovedmulchactionand
clippingdispersal.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengage
thebladecontrolswitch.
2.Movethemotioncontrolleversoutwardtothe
neutrallockposition,stoptheengine,removethe
key,andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbefore
leavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Attachthehosecouplingtotheendofthemower
washouttting,andturnthewateronhigh
(
Figure67).
Note:Spreadpetroleumjellyonthewashouttting
O-ringtomakethecouplingslideoneasierand
protecttheO-ring.

controlswitchandletthemowerrunforoneto
threeminutes.
6.Disengagethebladecontrolswitch,stoptheengine,
andremovetheignitionkey.Waitforallmoving
partstostop.
7.Turnthewateroffandremovethecouplingfrom
thewashouttting.
Note:Ifthemowerisnotcleanafteronewashing,
soakitandletitstandfor30minutes.Thenrepeat
theprocess.
8.Runthemoweragainforonetothreeminutesto
removeexcesswater.
WARNING
Abrokenormissingwashoutttingcould
exposeyouandotherstothrownobjectsorblade
contact.Contactwithbladeorthrowndebris
cancauseinjuryordeath.
•Replacebrokenormissingwashouttting
immediately,beforeusingmoweragain.
•Neverputyourhandsorfeetunderthe
mowerorthroughopeningsinthemower.
WasteDisposal
Engineoil,batteries,hydraulicoil,andenginecoolant
arepollutantstotheenvironment.Disposeofthese
accordingtoyourstateandlocalregulations.
