Old fuel in the fuel tank can also trigger the light, so use new fuel. Ensure the fuel-shutoff valve is fully open. Check and clean the air cleaner and precleaner, replacing them if necessary. Charge or replace the battery if it's not charged. Also, ensure that you are using a good 12 V battery and that it is fully charged. Check and replace any blown fuses. For issues such as incorrect or dirty fuel filters, unsecured connections to the sensors electronic-control unit (ECU) and fuel injectors, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
