  If your Toro Lawn Mower engine doesn't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, first check if the fuel tank is empty and fill it if needed. Ensure the choke is on. Clean or replace the air-cleaner element if it's dirty. Make sure the spark-plug wire(s) is securely connected. Install a new, correctly gapped spark plug if the current one is pitted, fouled, or has an incorrect gap. Replace the fuel filter if it's dirty. Also, ensure the oil level in the crankcase is adequate by adding oil if necessary. If you have dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system, or are using incorrect fuel, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.

If a blade spindle is bent, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
