What to do if my Toro TimeCutter MyRIDE 77602 Lawn Mower engine does not start?
- MMary HooperAug 12, 2025
If your Toro Lawn Mower engine doesn't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, first ensure that the fuel tank is full. If applicable, move the choke lever to the ON position. A dirty air cleaner can also cause starting issues, so clean or replace it. Check that the spark-plug wire(s) is securely connected to the spark plug. Inspect the spark plug(s) for damage or incorrect gap and replace if necessary. Also, verify that the fuel filter is clean, replacing it if needed. Ensure the correct fuel type is in the fuel tank, replacing it if needed. Finally, check the oil level in the crankcase and add oil if it is low. If the problem persists, it could be due to dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system, requiring you to contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
