What to do if my Toro TimeCutter HD MyRide 60in engine does not start?

If your Toro Lawn Mower engine doesn't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty by filling it. If it isn't an empty tank, make sure the choke is on. Check the air cleaner; if it's dirty, clean or replace it. See if the spark-plug wire(s) is loose or disconnected and connect it to the spark plug. Inspect the spark plug(s) for pitting, fouling, or incorrect gap, and replace if needed. Also, check for a dirty fuel filter and replace if necessary. Ensure that the fuel tank has the proper type of fuel and add oil to the crankcase if the oil level is low.
