Tostopthemachine,movethemotioncontrolleversto
neutral,movetherightsidemotioncontrolleverintothe
neutrallockposition,disengagethepowertakeoff(PTO),
andturntheignitionkeytooff.
Settheparkingbrakewhenyouleavethemachine;referto
SettingtheParkingBrakeinOperation.Remembertoremove
thekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethetractorwhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandsettheparking
brakewhenleavingthemachineunattended,even
ifjustforafewminutes.
PushingtheMachinebyHand
Theby-passvalvesallowthemachinetobepushedbyhand
withouttheenginerunning.
Important:Alwayspushthemachinebyhand.Never
towthemachinebecausehydraulicdamagemayoccur.
ToPushtheMachine
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotioncontrolleversto
theneutrallockedpositionandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Lowerthemowerdecktothelowestheight-of-cut
(HOC).Thiswillallowaccesstothebypassvalves.
3.Opentheby-passvalveonbothpumpsbyturning
themcounterclockwise1to2turns.Thisallows
hydraulicuidtoby-passthepumpsandthewheels
toturn(Figure23).
Note:Rotatetheby-passvalvesamaximumof2turns
sothevalvedoesnotcomeoutofthebodycausing
uidtorunout.
