assembly.Makesureitisbetweenthearmatureand
therotorfrictionsurfaces.
Thegapneedstobeatleast0.381mm(.015inches)
andnotmorethan0.533mm(.021inches).
2.Ifadjustmentisneeded,thensetat0.381mm(.015
inches)foreachofthethreeadjustmentslotpositions.
Tightenthelocknutsuntilthereisslightbindingon
thefeelergaugebutitcanbemovedeasilywithinthe
airgap(

3.Repeatthisfortheremainingslots.
4.Checkeachslotagainandmakeslightadjustmentsuntil
thefeelergaugebetweentherotorandarmaturewith

Beforeeachuseremoveanybuild-upofgrass,dirtorother
debrisfromthecylinderandcylinderheadcoolingns,air
intakescreenonywheelend,andcarburetor-governor
leversandlinkage.Thiswillhelpinsureadequatecooling
andcorrectenginespeedandwillreducethepossibilityof
overheatingandmechanicaldamagetotheengine.

coolingnsandshrouds.
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
