•Turningthemachineshouldbedoneoffthegreen
byraisingthecuttingreel(pushingthehandle
down)andturningonthetractiondrum.
•Mowingshouldbedoneatanormalwalkingpace.
Fastspeedssavesverylittletimeandresultsin
aninferiormowingjob.
•Toassistinmaintainingastraightlineacross
thegreenandtokeepthemachineanequal
distancefromtheedgeofthepreviouscut,usethe
alignmentstripesonthebasket(Figure29).

andtransportthemachineontothecollarofthe
green(Figure30).

positionandengagethereel-drivelever(Figure
