Thetransmissionbeltistensionedbyaspringloaded
idlerpulley.Ifyoumustengageordisengagethe
belttension,usea3/8inchwrenchtorotatethe
engage/disengageshaft(Figure47)tothedesired
position.Rotatingtheshaft1/4turnclockwise
disengagestheidlerfromthebelt(Figure48).
Note:Thebelttensionmustbedisengagedpriorto
removingthetransmissioncover.
