Yoursnowthrowerdoesnotcomewithoilintheengine,
butitdoescomewithabottleofoil.
Important:Beforestartingtheengine,llthe
enginewithoil.Donotoverll.
Maxll:12oz.(0.35l),type:automotivedetergentoil
withanAPIserviceclassicationofSJ,SL,orhigher.
UseFigure6toselectthebestoilviscosityforthe
outdoortemperaturerangeexpected:

1.Movethesnowthrowertoalevelsurface.
2.Cleanaroundtheoilllcap(Figure13).
3.Unscrewtheoilllcapandremoveit.
4.Slowlypouroilintotheoilllhole,andfrequently
checktheoillevelonthedipstickbywipingthe
dipstickcleanandtheninserting,butnotscrewing
in,theoilllcapintothehole.
