PreparingtheMachinefor
Storage
1.Onthelastrefuelingoftheyear,addfuelstabilizer
tofreshfuel.
Note:Fuelshouldnotbestoredlongerthan
suggestedbythefuelstabilizermanufacturer.
2.Runtheenginefor10minutestodistributethe
conditionedfuelthroughthefuelsystem.
3.Runthemachineuntiltheenginerunsoutoffuel.
4.Primetheengineandstartitagain.
5.Allowtheenginetorununtilitstops.Whenyoucan
nolongerstarttheengine,itissufcientlydry.
6.Stoptheengineandallowittocool.
7.Removetheignitionkey.
8.Cleanthemachinethoroughly.
9.Touchupchippedsurfaceswithpaintavailable
fromanAuthorizedServiceDealer.Sandaffected
areasbeforepainting,andusearustpreventativeto
preventthemetalpartsfromrusting.
10.Tightenallloosescrews,bolts,andlocknuts.Repair
orreplaceanydamagedparts.
11.Coverthemachineandstoreitinaclean,dryplace
outofthereachofchildren.
RemovingtheMachinefrom
Storage
Performtheannualmaintenanceproceduresasgivenin
theRecommendedMaintenanceSchedule.
