  Your Toro Lawn Mower may not start, start hard, or keep running for several reasons. The fuel tank could be empty, so fill it. The choke might not be on, so move the choke lever to the On position. The air cleaner could be dirty; therefore, clean or replace the air cleaner element. The spark plug wire(s) may be loose or disconnected, so install the wire(s) on the spark plug. The spark plug(s) may be pitted, fouled, or have an incorrect gap, so install a new, correctly gapped spark plug(s). There may be dirt in the fuel filter, so replace it. There may be incorrect fuel in the fuel tank, so drain the tank and replace the fuel with the proper type. The oil level in the crankcase could be low, so add oil to the crankcase.
