counterclockwiseandpullingitout(Figure14).

•IftheoilisbelowtheAddmarkonthe
dipstick,carefullypourasmallamountofoil
intotheoil-lltube,wait3minutes,andthen
repeatsteps3through5untiltheoillevelis
attheFullmarkonthedipstick.
•IftheoilisabovetheFullmarkonthe
dipstick,draintheexcessoiluntiltheoillevel
isattheFullmarkonthedipstick.Todrain
theexcessoil,refertoChangingtheEngine
Oil(page19).
Important:Iftheoillevelinthecrankcase
istoolowortoohighandyourunthe
engine,youmaydamagetheengine.
6.Installthedipstickintotheoil-lltubesecurely.

Thecuttingheightsrangefrom38mm(1-1/2inches)
to127mm(5inches)in13mm(1/2inch)increments.
