XL HYDROSTATIC TRANSAXLES
7. Slip the traction belt down off the engine pulley
and move the slack of the belt back toward the
rear of the tractor. You should now be able to slip
the traction belt up off the transaxle drive pulley.
The fan is flexible enough to allow you to remove
the belt (Figure 77).

8. Remove the hairpin and washer on the speed
control rod (Figure 78).

9. Remove the hairpin and washer on the bypass
lever rod (Figure 79).

10. Remove the small brake return spring from the
brake lever (Figure 80).
