7. Remove the upper steering shaft by removing the
E-ring around the bottom of the shaft and slide the
shaft out the bottom of the frame (Figure 168).

8. Unbolt the solenoid from the frame (Figure 169).

9. Remove the mower engagement cable from the
brake lever bracket (Figure 170).
