Why is the cutting height uneven on my Toro Lawn Mower?
- CCarrie ButlerAug 29, 2025
Uneven cutting height can be caused by several factors: * The blade(s) is not sharp, so sharpen them. * A cutting blade(s) is/are bent, so install a new one. * The mower is not level, so level it from side-to-side and front-to-rear. * The underside of the mower deck is dirty, so clean it. * The tire pressure is incorrect, so adjust it. * The spacers are in the wrong location, so position them under hairpin cotters. * The tips of adjacent blades are at an uneven cutting height, so replace the blades or spindles and/or check for damage to mower deck.
