Replacethebeltifitisworn.Thesignsofawornbeltinclude
squealingwhilethebeltisrotating;thebladesslippingwhile
cuttinggrass;andfrayededges,burnmarks,andcrackson
thebelt.
ReplacingtheMowerBelt
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Lowerthemowertothe76mm(3inch)height-of-cut.
4.Removethebeltcovers(Figure60).
