Why is my Toro Riding mower engine losing power?

Your Toro Riding mower's engine may lose power if the engine load is excessive; try reducing the ground speed. A dirty air cleaner can also cause this, so clean the air cleaner element. Check the oil level in the crankcase and add oil if it's low. Make sure the cooling fins and air passages above the engine are not plugged. Clean or replace the fuel cap if the vent hole is plugged, and replace the fuel filter if it's dirty. For issues related to dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
