You can control the basic functions of connected audio/video devices using the TV's remote control if you connect a
HDMI Control compatible audio receiver or playback device. For an explanation of setup and operations, see page 50.

To connect an Audio Receiver and Playback Devices,
you will need:
• HDMI cables (_ page 17)
Note:
• If several devices are connected, HDMI Control feature
may not operate properly.
• For proper operation, it is recommended that you use
HDMI cables with the HDMI Logo ( I-Ii:::lrrl| ).
Before controlling the device(s):
• After completing the above connections, set the HDNI
C0ntr01Setup menu as you desire (_ page 50).
• The connected devices must also be set. For details, see the
operation manual for each device.
• The HDMI Control feature uses the CEC technology as
regulated by the HDMI standard.
Note : This feature may not work proper/y depending on the
devices that are connected.
