Using the ALS {ambient fight sensor} feature
The ALS feature automatically adjusts the picture contrast according
to current lighting conditions. For example, when the room is dark,
the ALS will automatically reduce the contrast (which reduces eye
strain). ALS is activated when the ALS menu is set to ON.
To activate the ALS:
1. Press MENU, and then press or until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press or to highlight ALS.
3. Press or to highlight ON. The CONTRAST setting changes
to AUTO, and is riot adjustable while the ALS feature is on.
