OR
SAP
PROGRAM
The
Multi-channel
TV
Sound
or
MTS
feature
on
this
TV
allows
you
to
improve
your
TV
viewing
with
high
fidelity
stereo
sound.
MTS
also
provides
for
an
extra
channel
called
Second
Audio
Program
or
SAP,
used
to
transmit
a
second
language
for
bilinguai
transmission
or
other
sound.
LISTENING
TO
STEREO
SOUND
When
the
TV
receives
a
stereo
broadcast,
the
word
“STR”
is
displayed
on
the
screen
whenever
the
TV
Is
turned
on,
the
channel!
is
selected
or
the
RECALL
button
is
pressed.
Then
press
MTS
until
“STEREO”
is
displayed
tn
red.
You
will
be
able
to
hear
the
stereo
sound.
“STEREO”
SAP
MONO
©
lf
a
broadcasting
signal
is
not
strong
enough
and
noise-free
stereo
sound
is
not
available,
select
“MONO”,
The
noise
should
stop.
TOSHIBA
LISTENING
TO
SECOND
LANGUAGE
If
a
channel
is
broadcasting
“Second
Audio
Pro-
gram”,
the
word
“SAP”
is
displayed.
Then
select
“SAP”
by
pressing
MTS.
You
will
hear
only
the
second
language
from
the
left
and
right
speakers.
Note:
Please
be
sure
you
have
selected
the
STEREO
mode
If
broadcast
Is
In
stereo.
