Cable TV converter/

“A”
position
on
the
A/B
switch
allows
you
to
select
unscrambled
channels
using
the
TV’s
channel
keys.
“B”
position
allows
you
to
select
scrambled
channels
via
the
cable
TV
converter/decoder
using
the
converter’s
channel
keys.
Place
your
TV
on
channel
3
or
4
to
match
the
converter’s
output
channel.

The
descrambler
device
may
or
may
not
be
a
part
of
the
cable
converter.
e
Since
cable
systems
vary,
you
may
wish
to
consult
your
local
cable
company
for
additional
information.

is
provided
to
call
the
CATV
system
installer’s
attention
to
Article
820-40
of
the
N.E.C.,
that
provides
guidelines
for
proper
grounding
and,
in
particular,
specifies
that
the
cable
ground
shall
be
connected
to
the
grounding
system
of
the
building,
as
close to the point of cable entry as practical.
