QUESTIONS FOR ERROR CODES
Error codes on transmission and reception
Job lists are recorded in the [Print Log], [Transmission Journal], [Reception Journal] and [Scan Log] page of
TopAccess. The following error codes are sometimes shown on these pages. These codes help you specify the cause of
an error you might encounter. It is recommended to take a memo of the displayed error code when you need to
contact your service representative.
The error codes are also shown on the [Log] screen of the touch panel. See the following list when you find an error
code on the touch panel. If the error code displayed is not in it, contact your service representative.
Error code Description Corrective action
0012 Original misfeed Remove the misfed original.
0013 Door open Firmly close the open doors.
0020 Power failure Check the power interruption report.
0030 Transmission is canceled (The
transmission was terminated due to a
job cancellation requested by a user or
a paper jam during Direct
Transmission.)
Remove the misfed original.
0033 Polling Error Contact the sender to check if there is a polling job.
0042 Memory full Check that there is sufficient space in the memory and
reattempt the communication.
0050 Line busy Reattempt the communication.
0051 Fax line cable disconnected Check that the fax line cable is connected properly.
To clear the messages, press the [FUNCTION CLEAR]
button twice.

Signal Error or Line Condition Error Reattempt the communication.
00C5 Oversized original reception error The size of a received job exceeds the length limit. Ask the
sender to transmit a shorter one.
00E08 Internal storage device error Reattempt the communication. If the error still persists,
contact your service representative.
00F0-00F4 Hardware/Software failure Reattempt the communication. If the error still persists,
contact your service representative.
1C10 System access abnormality Turn the power OFF and then back ON and reattempt the
job in error. Check that the SSL/TLS and authentication
settings are specified properly in the SMTP client setting. If
the error still persists, contact your service representative.
1C11 Insufficient memory Complete any running jobs first before the job in error is
reattempted. If the error still persists, turn the power OFF
and then back ON. Then reattempt the operation.
1C12 Message reception error Turn the power OFF and then back ON and reattempt the
job in error.
1C13 Message transmission error Turn the power OFF and then back ON and reattempt the
job in error.
