Simple Scan
File Format
The file format of the scanned data can be specified by pressing [File Format].
There are 4 file formats as shown below.
JPEG
PDF
Secure PDF
Slim PDF
[JPEG] is available only when [Full Color] or [Gray Scale] is selected for the color mode setting.
The OCR option is necessary to use the OCR function.
Fax
Address book
A mode to display only the name in the address book list has been added. Due to this, a longer name can be checked
easily. For details about the setting, see the following reference:
