6.2 Firmware Updating with TOSHIBA Viewer
(e-STUDIO163/203 only)
Using the TOSHIBA Viewer, you can download the firmware from the PC to this copier for updating.
Important:
• Data to be downloaded should be stored in the same drive as the TOSHIBA Viewer program.
If the data are stored in a different drive (including a floppy disk or the drive of another PC
connected to the network), downloading may not be performed normally.
• Do not turn off the power of the copier and the PC while data are being updated.
Data may be damaged causing the copier not to operate normally.
• Only one data file can be downloaded in one go.
To download "Bank 1" (Program data) and "Bank 2" (Function data), complete to download
"Bank 1", perform the procedure from step 1 again, and then download "Bank 2".
1) Start the TOSHIBA Viewer, and then Click [Setup] on the main welcome menu.
