14 About the Install Disc
For Mac OS
The contents of the Install Disc:
Mac OS PPD files
The PPD file and plug-ins are included in the following folder, which are used for Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later:
[Install Disc]:MacPPD/OSX10_6-
These plug-ins are used for Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later.
[Install Disc]:MacPPD/OSX10_6-/2-sided_default
This PPD file enables to set 2-sided printing by default.
[Install Disc]:MacPPD/OSX10_6-/normal
This PPD file enables to set 1-sided printing by default.
When this equipment is used in Europe or North America, install the PPD file enabling 2-sided printing by default.
For UNIX/Linux
The contents of the Install Disc:
Solaris filter
The tar file for Solaris v11.2 is included in the following folder:
Choose the appropriate file depending on the model to be used.
Color MFP
[Install Disc]/Admin/Color_Unix_Linux/SolarisFilter/Usa/
Black and White MFP
[Install Disc]/Admin/BW_Unix_Linux/SolarisFilter/Usa/
HP-UX filter
The tar file for HP-UX ver.11iv3 is included in the following folder:
Choose the appropriate file depending on the model to be used.
Color MFP

Black and White MFP

IBM AIX filter
The tar file for IBM AIX 7.x is included in the following folder:
