PushButton
you press The pushbuTTon To auTomaTically run daTa
backups. The pushbuTTon lighTs up when The drive
is powered on, and flashes when reading or wriTing
daTa.
Drive stanD
can be removed for horizonTal placemenT or sTacking
of drives.
Power switch
Turn The drive on and off as needed while your
compuTer is running. see “how To unmounT and Turn
off The drive” in This guide for imporTanT informaTion.
usB 2.0 Port
The drive has a usb Type b porT, and your compuTer
has a Type a porT, which correspond To The connecTors
on The supplied usb cable. The drive is also compaTible
wiTh usb 1.1.
Power Port
The ac adapTer plugs in here. when connecTing The
drive, Take care To orienT The connecTor of The ac
adapTer cable properly, as iT will only go in one way.
