These are not failures.
Before you ask for servicing or repairs, check the following points.
The back of indoor unit is dewed.
• Dewdrops on the back of the indoor unit are automatically
collected and drained out.
Indoor unit or outdoor unit makes a strange noise.
• When temperature sharply changes, the indoor or
outdoor unit occasionally makes a strange noise (like tit-tack
noise or flowing noise) because of expansion/contraction of
parts or change of refrigerant flow.
The room air is smelly.
A bad odor comes from the air conditioner.
• Smells impregnated in the wall, carpet, furniture, clothing, or
furs, are coming out.
The OPERATION lamp goes on and off.
• The lamp goes on and off 1 Hz when power is restored after a
power failure, or when the power main switch is set to on.
Reset the circuit breaker to ON.
A white mist of chilled air is generated from the
indoor unit.
• The indoor unit in cooling operation occasionally steams.
