How to fix crude rice in Toshiba RC-10JRNH?
- CChristian CarrollAug 6, 2025
If your Toshiba Rice Cooker produces crude rice or takes too long to cook, several factors could be the cause. Ensure you are cooking the rice according to the required conditions, as insufficient cooking time can lead to this issue. Check the heating plate for deformation; slight deformation can be corrected with fine sandpaper, but severe deformation requires replacement by a maintenance department. Also, make sure the inner pot sits correctly and isn't declined or hanging in the air; adjust it lightly to return it to normal. Finally, check for any foreign matter between the inner pot and the heating plate, and clean it with fine sandpaper if necessary. If the inner pot is deformed, it should be sent to a designated service department.
