If you are new to computers, or have not used a notebook
computer before, read through the first couple of chapters to
familiarize yourself with the components of the computer
and how to turn it on. After that, seek out whatever interests
you most.
Safety icons
This manual contains safety instructions that must be
observed in order to avoid potential hazards that could
result in personal injuries, damage your equipment, or loss
of data. The safety cautions have been classified according
to the seriousness of the risk, and the icons highlight these
instructions as follows:
DANGER: This icon indicates the existence of a hazard that
could result in death or serious bodily injury if the safety
instruction is not observed.
WARNING: This icon indicates the existence of a hazard that
could result in bodily injury if the safety instruction is not
observed.
CAUTION: This icon indicates the existence of a hazard that
could result in damage to equipment or property if the safety
instruction is not observed.
NOTE: This icon indicates information that relates to the safe
operation of the equipment or related items.
