1. Introduction
Thank you for your purchase the Toshiba "TOSVERT VF-A7/P7 Control Power Option Unit"
industrial inverter.
Using this unit, control power and main circuit power for VF-A7/P7 Series (0.4 – 22kW class)
inverters can be supplied separately. (30kW or above inverters are supplied separately as
standard) This instruction manual describes the connection method and other items of the
“Control power option unit.” Read this manual carefully before you use this unit.
This manual should be stored near the user who uses the ”Control power option unit” so that
this manual can be helpful when performing maintenance and inspection in the future.

[Checking the accessories]
The control power option unit has the following accessories other than the unit itself.
Unpack the package and check the contents.

The 70cm length cable between the inverter and the option unit can cover all of the models
(0.4 – 22kW). Cable lengths other than 70cm are not provided as standard. Please pay
attention to the installation location of this unit on occasions such as when you design the
panel.
This unit can be used for both 200V class inverters and 400V class inverters.
