Function Description:
The Tower Smokeless Grill Air Fryer is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for healthy cooking. It combines the functionalities of an air fryer and a grill, allowing users to prepare a wide range of dishes with less oil. The appliance offers five primary cooking modes:
- Air Frying: For crisp, delicious, and healthy food without the need for deep frying.
- Roasting: Ideal for super succulent roast chicken, pork, beef, and lamb.
- Crisper Grill: Adds flavor to steak, chicken, fish, or vegetables.
- Baking: Great for baking breads, tarts, pies, and more.
- Dehydrate: For dehydrating slices of fruit and vegetables to make low-fat, low-sugar snacks.
A key feature of this air fryer is the "Temp ACE" functionality, which uses a temperature probe to automatically detect and set the ideal cooking temperature for various ingredients, ensuring optimal results. The appliance also includes a removable splash guard to protect the top during cooking and an inner pot safety switch to prevent accidental operation when the pot is not properly seated.

The unit pre-heats for 3-4 minutes in Grill, Bake, Roast, and Air Fry modes (displaying 'Pre'), then shows vertical bars during cooking. Pre-heating can be skipped in Bake, Roast, or Air Fry modes by pressing the mode key again, which will display 'Add Food'. Dehydrate mode does not require pre-heating.
- Temperature and Time Adjustment: Use the Temperature Selection keys (up/down arrows) to adjust temperature in 5-degree increments. Press the Temp ACE key, then select the desired cooking temperature from the pre-set options for different foods (e.g., Fish 60°C, Poultry 75°C, Beef Rare 50°C). The unit will automatically cook to the internal temperature. Food should rest for five minutes after cooking in Temp ACE mode. - Pausing/Resuming: Press the Start/Stop key to pause or resume cooking.
- End of Cooking: The unit will sound a prompt and display 'End'. Open the lid, remove food, and allow it to stand for about a minute.
- Tips: Adjust conventional recipe times by about 10 minutes for baking and roasting. For air frying, increase cooking time for cold food, use tongs for large/fragile items, adjust time based on ingredient size, shake smaller ingredients, parboil potatoes for fluffy fries, add oil for crispy fresh potatoes, avoid greasy foods, and use pre-made dough for quick snacks. When battering, coat items in flour, then butter/egg, then breadcrumbs.

- Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely (approximately 30 minutes) before cleaning. Remove the inner pot for quicker cooling.
- Inner Pot and Grill Plate: Thoroughly clean with hot water, washing-up liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge. Degreasing liquid can be used for stubborn dirt. The manual warns against using the appliance outdoors, near hot surfaces, or with damaged cords. It advises against covering air inlets/outlets and leaving the appliance unattended during operation.
