For Homes, Boats or RVs
2,500 Watts of continuous power.
Many inverters produce “rated power” for only 15 to
30 minutes. Trace’s 2500 Series inverters are certified by ETL Testing Laboratories to produce
2,500 watts continuously. They also conserve battery energy by consuming only 1/3 watt under no-
load conditions, and by running at 85% to 96% efficient for any load over 50 watts.
The convenience of automatic operation
.
Combination inverter/charger (StandBy)
models include a built-in battery charger and automatic mode switching that provides true “set it
and forget it” operation. These units sense the availability of AC from any source (shore power,
generator or grid), and automatically switch to battery charger mode. When AC is no longer
available, they switch back to battery power (inverter mode) in less than 40 milliseconds. Best of
all, you don’t lift a finger!
Maximum battery performance.
The powerful and advanced multi-stage battery charger
built into StandBy models ensures rapid and complete charging without the risk of over-charging.
Easily adjustable controls allow you to tailor the charge program to your battery type and bank size.
Battery charge can be maintained indefinitely without the electrolyte “boil-off” problems inherent to
ordinary chargers. All models feature “smart” protection circuitry that frees all the energy your
battery bank can safely deliver, but shuts down the inverter if your battery approaches dangerous
discharge levels.
Certified for residential, commercial installation and
photovoltaic power systems.
The independent, nationally recognized
testing labs of ETL have certified the 2500 Series to Underwriter Laboratories’
specification UL1778 and UL1741, so you can easily comply with National Electric
Code (NEC) requirements.
Certified for RV installation.
All 12- and 24-volt 2500 Series inverters are ETL certified to
UL458 for RV installation, and meet Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) guidelines.
Certified for marine installation.
Trace also offers
a marine 2500 (in the U.S. only) that meets
American Boat and Yacht Council standards
and is ETL certified to UL1236 for marine
installation. The 2500M comes standard with
all features of the 2500, plus a built-in battery
charger, four-function digital meter, and neutral switching
circuitry. Neutral switching follows ABYC standards in
providing maximum protection from electrical hazards unique
to the marine environment, whether operating from shore,
generator or battery power.
Options make Trace inverters more flexible
.
Trace’s Stacking Interface (SIB) enables two inverters to operate
as one for up to 5,000 watts of continuous power, 12,000 watts
of surge, and battery charging that’s twice as fast. A Remote
Control Panel (RC-2000) may be dash-mounted up to 50 feet
away, and has a digital readout of battery voltage, charge rate (amps), and the AC source’s line
frequency (hertz) and peak voltage. An on/off remote control (RC2) allows the inverter to be
monitored and controlled from up to 50 feet away.
The bottom line:
Trace 2500 Series inverters provide low cost, quiet, dependable AC power
wherever and whenever you need it. Contact your local Trace dealer to learn more.
