EMI Notes
Introduced with AOC Software Version 2, Fall of 2014.
The drive uses multiple gates (micro relays) to run the
compressor. These gates open and close very quickly. This
high frequency switching generates low levels of electromag-
netic interference that can interact with other devices in the
home; such as televisions, baby monitors, HAM radios, etc.
Changing the EMI setting from AUTO to OFF will alter the
switching frequency during higher speed compressor
operation which will alter the EMI signal.
Contact your local FSR if EMI is still impacting devices after
switching EMI to OFF.
HTG MAX RPM
Introduced with AOC Software
Version 2, Fall of 2014.
Maximum allowed compressor speed percentage over cooling speed.
LOW - Max Htg Speed equals cooling speed (unit has same max compressor speed as a non-variable speed heat pump)
HIGH - allows compressor to run at the max allowed speed based on ambient conditions (full turbo mode)
MED - caps the max compressor speed half way between the low and high speed options
VSPD Side Discharge will be
announced as LOAD SHED
See “13.8 External Shutdown
