Installation
5. Place the enclosure back onto the surface and secure it
with the appropriate screws.
6. Follow step 5 in the previous discussion, “Mounting on a
4” by 4" Electrical Box”, to replace the microprocessor
within the enclosure.

Remote Panel Dimensional Data & Knockout Locations
Field Installed Power Wiring
The Remote Human Interface requires 24 VAC ± 4 volts
power source and a shielded twisted pair communication
link between the Remote Panel and the Interprocessor
Communication Bridge (IPCB) Module at the unit.
1. Field wiring for both the three (3) conductor low voltage
power wiring and the shielded twisted pair must meet the
gauge and length requirements outlined in the following
sections:
Note: To prevent control malfunctions, do not run
low voltage wiring (30 volts or less) in conduit with
higher voltage circuits.
2. All wiring must be in accordance with NEC and all local
codes.
Controls using 24 VAC
Before installing any connecting wiring, refer to the connec-
tion diagram that shipped with the unit for the electrical ac-
cess and connection locations provided on the unit and
Table 1 for AC conductor sizing guidelines, and;
a. Use copper conductors unless otherwise specified.
b. Ensure that the AC control wiring between the
controls and the unit’s termination point does not
exceed three (3) ohms/conductor for the length of
the run.
Note: Resistance in excess of 3 ohms per
conductor may cause component failure due to
insufficient AC voltage supply.
c. Be sure to check all loads and conductors for
grounds, shorts, and miswiring.
d. Do not run the AC low voltage wiring in the same
conduit with the high voltage power wiring.
