Assemble the umbrella by attaching the finial, canopy/mainframe, and bottom pole. Ensure poles snap into place.
Open the umbrella by turning the crank clockwise. Continue cranking to tilt the umbrella to the desired position.
Turn the crank counter-clockwise to bring the umbrella to horizontal, then continue to close. Secure with tie string.
