Overview

The TREBLAB J1 are wireless Bluetooth earphones designed to provide superior sound quality and comfort with hands-free operation. They feature Bluetooth 4.1 EDR with APTX technology and CVC6.0 echo noise cancellation, ensuring a clear audio experience.

Function Description:

The earphones are equipped with a multi-function button for various operations. To power on or off, a long press of the button for 2 seconds is required. For entering pairing mode, a long press for 4 seconds is needed. During a call, a short press answers or ends the call, while a long press for 2 seconds rejects it. Redialing the last number is done with a double press. Canceling an ongoing action or ending a call can also be achieved with a short press. For music playback, a short press pauses or plays the track. Volume adjustment is straightforward: a short press of the '+' button increases the volume, and a short press of the '-' button decreases it. To navigate through tracks, a long press of the '+' button moves to the next song, and a long press of the '-' button goes to the previous song. Voice prompts are included to guide the user.

Usage Features:

The TREBLAB J1 earphones offer a range of features to enhance the user experience. They come with a carrying case for protection and portability. The package includes both silicone and expandable foam eartips, allowing users to choose the most comfortable and secure fit for their ears. The expandable foam eartips are particularly recommended for optimal noise cancellation and to ensure the earbuds stay in place during activity. The J1 earbuds have a wire that can be easily fixed around the back of the head (neck) using a supplied cord minder, providing additional security and preventing loss. It is common for ear canals to differ in size, so users are encouraged to try different ear tip sizes to find the best fit for each side. To firmly seat the ear tip, gently pulling on the outer rim of the ear can help ease the tip into a comfortable position. When seated correctly, a noticeable drop in ambient noise should occur, and music playback will exhibit more range, especially bass.

Connecting the TREBLAB J1 to a device is a simple process. First, activate the Bluetooth feature on your device and keep it within 3 feet (1 meter) of the earphones. Then, press and hold the HOME key on the earphones for approximately 4 seconds until the red and blue LEDs flash rapidly, indicating pairing mode. Use your Bluetooth-enabled device to scan for available Bluetooth devices and select "TREBLAB J1" from the list. If prompted, enter the password "0000". After successful pairing, the LED indicator will flash blue twice, and you can then answer calls or listen to music. The earphones will automatically search for and attempt to connect to the last paired device when switched on again.

While the TREBLAB J1 can only be actively paired to one device at a time, it is possible to switch between devices. To connect to a new device, temporarily switch off Bluetooth on the currently connected device, then follow the pairing steps for the new device. Once the new device is connected, Bluetooth can be turned back on for the first device. For optimal sound quality, it is recommended to keep the device and earphones within 30 feet (10 meters) in an open space without solid obstacles. If the connection is lost, the J1 will attempt to reconnect automatically to previously paired devices. If automatic reconnection fails, pressing the HOME button once or reconnecting through the device's Bluetooth menu can re-establish the connection.

Maintenance Features:

The TREBLAB J1 earphones are designed for durability with an IPX-6 sweat-proof rating, making them suitable for workouts and active use. However, it is important to wipe the headphones dry before charging if they have been exposed to excessive sweating.

Charging the earphones is done via the provided USB/micro USB cable. Connect the micro USB end to the charging port on the earphones and the standard USB end to a PC USB port or a USB charger. The LED indicator will be red during charging and will turn blue after 1-2 hours when fully charged. The battery provides approximately 9 hours of life. When the battery is low, the user will hear "Low Battery" or see the LED indicator flash twice every 20 seconds. This indicates about 5-10 minutes of use remaining before the earphones automatically power off. It is important not to overcharge the headset, as charging for much longer than 2-3 hours at a time can reduce battery capacity and void the manufacturer's warranty.

For troubleshooting, if the device cannot find the Bluetooth earphones, ensure the J1 is in pairing mode with flashing blue and red LEDs. If still not found, restart both the device and the headset. If no connection is made within two minutes in pairing mode, the earphones will exit pairing mode automatically. If the earphones do not switch off, they can be reset by charging them. Frequent disconnections or noise can be addressed by ensuring the earphones are fully charged, maintaining a distance of less than 30 feet (10 meters) from the device, and ensuring no obstacles block the signal. If these steps do not resolve the issue, restoring the J1 to factory settings can help. If the earphones are not used for more than 3 minutes while not connected to a device, they will automatically power off to conserve power.

If the red LED does not come on while charging, it might be due to prolonged disuse. Allow at least 30 minutes for charging to resolve this. If the earphones cannot connect to a device, try resetting the J1 to factory settings, deleting all saved devices from the device's Bluetooth menu, turning Bluetooth off and on, powering the device off and on, unplugging the J1 from the charging cable and powering it on, and then re-entering pairing mode. If a password is requested during pairing, enter "0000".

Safety rules include never disassembling or modifying the headset, avoiding exposure to liquids, extreme temperatures, and direct light into eyes. The device should not be used during a thunderstorm. The battery is rechargeable, and the charger should be unplugged when not in use. A fully charged battery will lose charge over time if unused, so a full charge twice a month is recommended. The device should not be left in hot or cold places, such as a closed car, as this can reduce battery capacity and lifetime. Batteries should not be disposed of in a fire as they may explode.
