Overview

The TREBLAB XR700 are wireless earphones designed to provide superior sound quality and mobility, combined with a lightweight construction and the convenience of hands-free wireless operation. They come with a carrying case, silicone eartips, foam eartips, a user's manual, a charging cable, and a cord minder.

Function Description:

The XR700 earphones feature a speaker for audio output and a microphone for calls. They include a power button, volume control buttons (Volume + for increasing volume and skipping to the next track, Volume - for decreasing volume and going to the previous track), and an LED indicator. A USB port is provided for charging.

Usage Features:

Wearing the Headset:

Proper fit is crucial for maximum external noise isolation and a secure fit. The earphones come with various sizes of foam and silicone eartips. To ensure a firm fit, gently pull on the outer rim of your ear to ease the eartip into a comfortable position. A correct fit will result in a noticeable drop in ambient noise and an improved music range. The XR700 also features a flexible earhook that can be adjusted around your ear for perfect fixation.

Changing Eartips:

  • Foam Ear-tips: Place the rubber inner part of the foam ear-tip on top of the nozzle. Rotate and push down the ear nozzle, "wrapping" it onto the inner rubber part of the ear tip with a screwing motion.
  • Silicone Ear-tips: Turn over the ear-tip upper cover. Rotate and firmly push the ear-tip tube to cover the ear-tip pillar. Then, turn the ear-tip upper cover back onto the nozzle.

Setting Up the TREBLAB XR700:

  • Turning On: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. You will hear a "Power ON" voice prompt, and the blue and red LED light will start flashing.
  • Turning Off: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. You will hear a "Power OFF" voice prompt, and the flashing blue LED light will go off.
  • Pairing: Ensure the XR700 is fully charged and turned off.
    1. Press and hold the POWER button on the right earbud. You will hear "Power ON" and then "PAIRING" a few seconds later (LED will flash red and blue rapidly). Release your finger.
    2. Activate the wireless connection on your smart device and keep it within 3 feet / 1 meter while pairing.
    3. Scan/search for available devices on your smart device.
    4. Select "TREBLAB XR700" from the device list.
    5. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
    6. Once successfully paired, you will hear "CONNECTED," and the LED will flash blue every 6 seconds.

The XR700 can only be paired to one device at a time. To connect to another device, temporarily switch off the wireless mode on the first connected device, then repeat the pairing steps for the new device. You can then turn the wireless mode back on for the first device. When turned on, the earbuds will attempt to reconnect to the most recently connected device. If this fails, they will search for the next device in the pairing list.

Audio Playback:

  • Pause/Resume: Press the POWER button.
  • Adjust Volume: Short press the Volume + button to increase volume, or the Volume - button to decrease volume.
  • Change Tracks: Press and hold the Volume + button for the next track, or the Volume - button for the previous track.

Phone Calls Management:

The XR700 supports making and receiving phone calls wirelessly, pausing audio playback during calls.

  • Answer Call: Press the POWER button during an incoming call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
  • End Call: Press the POWER button during a conversation.
  • Redial: Press the POWER button twice.

Troubleshooting:

  • Not powering on: Ensure the headset is fully charged (charge for 2 hours if necessary). To reset, press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds while charging until the LED flashes blue 3 times.
  • Not pairing: Ensure the speaker is not paired with another device, as it only pairs with one at a time. To force the headset to forget previously paired devices, press and hold the POWER button for about 3 seconds while charging until the LED flashes blue 3 times, then repeat pairing steps. Alternatively, disconnect and remove the XR700 from your device's pairing list and try pairing again.
  • Not finding a wireless driver on your laptop: Ensure your laptop supports wireless connections. If not, an external wireless USB adapter compatible with your laptop may be needed. Consult your laptop manufacturer for details.
  • Frequent disconnection and noise: Ensure the distance between your device and the headset is less than 30 feet / 10 meters. Check for obstructions blocking the signal. Verify if music is paused, and if volume levels are set on both the source device and the speaker. Check if the headset is out of power.

Maintenance Features:

Restore Factory Settings:

  1. Put the headset on charge.
  2. Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds while charging until the LED flashes blue 3 times.
  3. The earphones will be restored to factory settings and ready for pairing.

Charging:

A full battery charge provides up to 4 hours of playing time at maximum volume, and up to 8 hours at medium volume. A "BATTERY LOW" voice prompt will indicate low battery. To charge, plug one end of the supplied Micro-USB cable into the charging port under the rubber cover of the right earbud, and the other end into a standard USB port. Full charge takes up to 3 hours. The LED light will be red while charging and turn blue when fully charged. Use a 5V DC, 0.5-2 A adapter or charger. Using a lower power source will increase charging time. Charging through a computer's USB port can maximize battery lifespan. Unplug the XR700 from the charging cable and the power source when not in use. If unused, the battery will lose charge over time; fully charge the XR700 at least twice a month to maintain battery life.

Safety Rules:

  • Do not disassemble or modify the earbuds, as this can cause malfunction, combustion, and void the warranty.
  • Ensure the headset is completely dry before charging to prevent serious damage.
  • Clean only with a dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the XR700 to extreme temperatures (below 37°F / 3°C or above 112°F / 45°C), as this can deform components, reduce battery life, and shorten the headset's lifespan.
  • Do not direct the device's LED lights close to human or animal eyes.
  • Do not use the XR700 during a thunderstorm, as it can cause serious malfunction and increase the risk of electric shock.

Waterproof Standard (IPX7):

The TREBLAB XR700 meets the IPX7 waterproof standard, meaning it is suitable for rain or snow, splashing, showering, and incidental exposure to water up to 3 feet / 1 meter for up to 30 minutes, as well as outdoor sports. It is unsuitable for swimming, diving into water, snorkeling or scuba diving, high-speed watersports, and sauna and steam baths.

Recycling:

The earphones are recyclable. In the US, options include Best Buy's recycling program or checking websites like search.earth911.com, recyclenation.com/find, and cta.tech/Consumer-Resources/Greener-Gadgets. In Canada, visit thinkreuse.net. In the UK, visit recycle-more.co.uk.
