If you're experiencing unacceptable image quality with your Tripp Lite Switch after installation, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure your HDMI source device provides sufficient power; if not, use a 5V 2A DC power supply with a 3.5 x 1.35 mm output plug (positive tip, negative sleeve). Restarting connected devices may help if they weren't off during installation, or if the IR Extender Receiver was connected after powering on the devices. Also, consider using shorter cables or lowering your source’s video resolution or color depth settings. Inferior cabling can also be a culprit, so use cables that support your desired video resolution, such as Tripp Lite’s P569-Series High-Speed HDMI cables.
