What to do if my Triton T80Z SLIMLINE shower is not working?
    • R
      Robert SpencerJul 30, 2025
If your Triton Plumbing Product shower is not working and there is no water coming out, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if there is an interrupted power supply, such as a blown fuse or circuit breaker. Renew or reset the fuse or circuit breaker. If the problem persists, consult a qualified electrician. Also, verify if there is a power cut in your area by checking other appliances. If necessary, contact your local Electricity Supply Company. Make sure that the mains water supply to the shower is not interrupted by checking if the isolating valves are fully open and inspecting for any blockages in the inlet filter or pipework. If none of these steps resolve the issue, the unit may have a malfunction, and it should be checked by Customer Service.

Why is the water too hot in my Triton T80Z SLIMLINE shower?
    • R
      Robert EvansAug 3, 2025
If the water from your Triton Plumbing Product shower is too hot, there are several potential causes and solutions. First, increase the flow rate via the temperature control, as the issue may be due to not enough water flowing through the shower. If the showerhead is blocked, clean or replace the blocked sprayplate. Also, check for any blockages in the supply by ensuring the stop valves are fully open and inspecting the inlet filter. If the ambient water temperature has increased, readjust the flow rate to give increased flow or select ‘economy’ power.

What to do if water is ejected from the PRD tube of my Triton Plumbing Product shower?
    • L
      Louis DixonAug 8, 2025
If the pressure relief device (PRD) has operated on your Triton Plumbing Product, causing water to be ejected from the PRD tube, it could be due to a few reasons. Check if the showerhead is blocked and clean or replace the blocked sprayplate, then fit a new PRD. Also, inspect the flexible shower hose for any twists or blockages, ensure free passage through the hose, replace it if necessary, and fit a new PRD. If the showerhead was not removed during commissioning, fit a new PRD and commission the unit with the showerhead removed. Finally, if the water pressure is above the specified maximum for the unit, fit a pressure reducing valve to the inlet and then fit a new PRD.

Why is the water too cold in my Triton T80Z SLIMLINE Plumbing Product shower?
    • T
      Teresa WattsAug 12, 2025
If the water from your Triton Plumbing Product shower is too cool or cold, it could be due to several reasons. Try reducing the flow rate via the temperature control, as too much flow can cause this issue. Check if the water pressure is below the minimum required. Determine whether the water supply is mains or tank fed. If there is a reduction in ambient water temperature, readjust the flow rate to give reduced flow, or select ‘high’ power. If there is an electrical malfunction or the safety cut-out has operated, have the unit checked by a suitably qualified electrician or contact Customer Service.

What to do if my Triton T80Z SLIMLINE Plumbing Product shower won't turn off?
    • B
      Brandon CampbellAug 16, 2025
If your Triton Plumbing Product shower fails to shut off when the Start/Stop button is pressed, it could be due to a faulty Start/Stop switch, in which case you should replace the switch. Alternatively, there might be debris in the solenoid valve, requiring you to replace the solenoid valve. If neither of these solutions works, the unit may have a malfunction, and it should be checked by Customer Service.

Why does my Triton T80Z SLIMLINE shower water temperature fluctuate?
    • D
      Darrell MorrowAug 20, 2025
If the water temperature in your Triton Plumbing Product shower is cycling between hot and cool at intervals, it may be due to the heater cycling on a thermal cut-out. Refer to the causes for ‘Water too hot’ (blocked showerhead, blockage in supply, etc.) and take the appropriate action. If the issue continues, contact Customer Service.

Why does my Triton T80Z SLIMLINE Plumbing Product shower go cold during use?
    • N
      njohnsonAug 25, 2025
If your Triton Plumbing Product shower's temperature varies from normal to cold during use, it is possible that the water pressure has dropped below the minimum required. In this case, wait until the water pressure resumes to normal.
