Perform the following operations:
• If the measurement does not fall within the specified range see Valve Clearance
Adjustment
• If the measurement does fall within the specified range fit the Camshaft Cover –
Installation
• Refit the spark plugs and tighten to 12 Nm
Valve Clearance Adjustment
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
To adjust the valve clearances the camshaft must be revoved.
Perform the following operations:
• Camshaft Cover - Removal
