Lower Crankcase – Removal
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
Perform the following operations:
NOTICE
Before removing the lower crankcase, make sure that the transmission is in neutral and
remains in neutral until the lower crankcase is refitted.
• Seat - Removal
• Battery - Removal
• Fuel Tank - Removal
• Engine - Removal
• Sump - Removal
• Front Balancer - Removal
• Rear Balancer - Removal
