Gear Position Sensor – Removal
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
Perform the following operations:
• Seat - Removal
• Battery - Removal
• Right hand Side Panels - Removal
• Battery Box - Removal
NOTICE
The front upper fixing also secure the drive shaft cover.
1. Release the fixings and remove the starter motor cover.

2. Fixing M6 x 42mm
3. Starter motor cover
