Why is my Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer pump not producing enough pressure?
    • L
      Lauren BallJul 26, 2025
If your Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer's pump is failing to produce pressure, exhibiting erratic pressure, chattering, losing pressure, or showing low water volume, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you're using a high-pressure spray tip instead of a low-pressure one. Check that the water inlet isn't blocked and that you have an adequate water supply. Also, inspect the inlet hose for kinks or leaks and clear any clogs in the inlet hose screen. Make sure the water supply isn't over 100°F (38°C). Clear any blockages in the high-pressure hose and replace a leaking spray gun. Lastly, clean the spray tip if it's obstructed. If none of these steps resolve the issue, the pump may be faulty, and you should contact a local service facility.

Why won't my Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer engine start?
    • P
      Parker JacksonAug 5, 2025
If your Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer engine won't start or runs roughly, start by checking the oil level and fill the crankcase to the proper level if it's low. Ensure the air cleaner is clean; if dirty, clean or replace it. Verify that there's fuel in the tank, and if the fuel is stale, drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. Check that the spark plug wire is securely connected to the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if it's bad. Also, drain the fuel tank and fill with fresh fuel to eliminate water in the fuel. If the fuel mixture is excessively rich, contact a local service facility.

      Emily BrooksAug 15, 2025
If the detergent is not mixing with the spray from your Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer, make sure the detergent siphoning tube is fully submerged in the detergent. Also, check the detergent siphoning tube and filter for clogs or cracks; clean or replace them if necessary. Finally, ensure you're using a low-pressure spray tip instead of a high-pressure one.
