Why won't my Troy-Bilt TB27 BC Trimmer start?
- SsergiofordJul 29, 2025
Your Troy-Bilt Trimmer might not start due to several reasons. The fuel tank could be empty, so fill it with properly-mixed fuel. You may not have pressed the primer bulb enough; try pressing it 10 times. The engine might be flooded; in that case, press the throttle lockout, squeeze the throttle control, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. Old or improperly mixed fuel can also be the culprit; drain the tank and add fresh fuel. A fouled spark plug should be replaced. Also, ensure the choke lever is flipped according to the starting instructions.
