WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS

• Evacuate all persons from the vehicle.

• Shut off the gas supply at the gas container

or source.

• Do not touch any electrical switch, or use

any phone or radio in the vehicle.

• Do not start the vehicle’s engine or electric

generator.

• Contact the nearest gas supplier or certified

service technician for repairs.

• If you cannot reach a gas supplier or certi-

fied service technician, contact the nearest

fire department.

• Do not turn on the gas supply until gas leaks

have been repaired.

Installation and service must be performed by

a certified service technician, service agency,

or the gas supplier.

  If you're not getting hot water from your Truma Water Heater, several factors could be the cause: * The gas supply might be off or interrupted. Ensure the gas supply is turned on. * The gas tank could be empty. Refill or replace the gas tank. * The appliance might be switched off. Turn on the appliance according to the operating procedures. * The fresh water supply could be turned off. Open the fresh water supply. * The power supply to the appliance might be off. Turn on the power supply. * There may be a defect in the appliance. If LED 2 is blinking red, contact a certified service technician.

  If water is escaping from the pressure relief valve, it could be due to a few reasons: * The water pressure in the system might be too high. Adjust the water pump pressure to a maximum of 450 kPa. If connected to a central water supply exceeding 450 kPa, install a water pressure reducer like the Truma water pressure regulator at the fresh water supply. * Water might not be able to expand in the system. Contact your vehicle manufacturer about retrofitting a pressure compensation element. * There could be lime or dirt under the valve seat. After the appliance cools, slowly raise the test lever to flush the system and try to remove any debris. If this doesn't work, have a certified service technician replace the pressure relief valve.

A certified technician can install a volume flow throttle. * Too much lime scale in the appliance. Decalcify the appliance.

Consult your vehicle documentation to check if the gas supply provides enough gas volume. * The hot water volume flow could be too high, or the incoming cold water temperature might be too low. Reduce the hot water flow at the faucet or shower. A certified service technician can retrofit a volume flow throttle into the water system. * Excessive lime deposits might be present in the heater. Have it decalcified by a certified service technician.
